The current landscape of emerging technologies like blockchain, web3, ai-related solutions and others is paving the way for what I see as the rise of composable culture. Why it matters?
Composable culture makes me think of early efforts to decentralize game IP development (which only recently have started working with Realms on Starknet perhaps) but this more expansive view makes a lot of sense and is very exciting!
I think the term is just for me to have an umbrella for all things. In terms of gaming I have a very controversial (IMHO) approach that there is a place for all kinds of gaming and we can have centralized and decentralised. As a gamer - I love to have choice. As a strategist and researcher - I love to see opportunities, creativity and other endeavours, wether its Roblox, Starknet projects (was at a AW conference in Istanbul where loads of these projects were shown - vastly impressed!). Thanks for reading!
I completely agree on gaming. I think we are still figuring out where decentralization makes sense. Funnily, I do think the more important aspect is composability (modding) rather than just trustless asset ownership which by itself just leads to overfinancialization of games!
During the various research I've done and reading other research/studies, the issue of ownership is not so important for gamers, and it is not a one-sided coin (hence the subscription/ownership debate about gaming).
